PUNJAB EXAMINATION COMMISSION WILL CONDUCT ONLY 5 SUBJECT BOARD EXAM FOR 5TH AND 8TH CLASS

The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) which is responsible to conduct the board examination of 8th and 5th class for the public and private schools lying withing the premises of Punjab. PEC has decided to conduct the examination for the assessment of the students in only five subjects. The exam of remaining subjects will be conducted by the respective school (internal exam) and school will keep the record of the examination. PEC will conduct only five subjects exam including English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science and Islamiyat. While the exam for the subjects of Social Studies, Arabic, Computer and other subjects will be conducted by the school management.

BAN ON USE OF MOBILE PHONE BY TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN CLASS ROOMS

The Education Department of Punjab has restricted the the students and teachers not to use mobile phone in class rooms. The Secretary Education Punjab said that strict action will be taken against the Teachers if they were found using mobile phone in class rooms. The Secretary Education has also delievered the orders to Education Officers, District Monitoring Officers (DMO) and CM Monitoring team stating instructions that if any teacher during the visit will found using mobile phone in class room take strict action against him/her.

Seniority List of Elementary Teachers Rawalpindi For Promotion to SST

The seniority lists for the promotion of Elementary Teachers (all categories) of District Rawalpindi have been prepared and displayed in Educational Offices. Executive District Education Officer (EDO) Rawalpindi said that teacher may check these lists and can note their objection before 10-Dec-2013. He further added that the promotion process of the elementary teachers of Rawalpindi will be completed up to 31 December 2013 and all the promotion will be on merit.

Punjab Government will Provide Scootees to Female Studens

The Government of Punjab will provide the Scootees (Lady Motorcyle) to female students of colleges and universites. According to the MPA Rana Mashood at first step 300 lady motor cycle would be provided to the students of the Fatima Jinnah Woman University Rawalpindi. And after the successful completion of first phasse this process will be extended to all the girls colleges and universites of Punjab.

A Boy who collects Garbage For his Livelihood Passed FCS in Rawalpindi

A courageous boy of Rawalpindi his livelihood is garbage collection passed the Intermediate exam with subjects of computer science. At night Bilal collects garbage while in the morning he studies. The young courageous Bilal not only passed Inter exam but also earning money through selling garbage for his partents treatment. Bilal want to get the degree of MCS and looking for job. National Nutrition Survey Report Regarding Literacy Level of Mothers in Pakistan

In Pakistan 59.3% of mothers are illiterate while only 10.5 % are matric pass according to the According to the National Nutrition Survery Report. The 36.6 % of urban and 69.4 % of rural population of mothers are illiterate. According to the report only 10.5 % mothers are matric pass while 9 % continued their studies after matric.

PUNJAB EDUCATORS JOBS POSTONED | NEW SCHEDULE ISSUED

The Educators Jobs in the School Education Department Punjab once again postponed. According to the news sources the decision was taken keepin in view the upcoming Municipility Election in Punjab. The total 29822 Educators / Teachers jobs were to be finalized in December 2013 but due to Municipility Election in Punjab. It is further added that the submission of application forms and scrutiny of applications was almost done and candidate were waiting for the test dates by the NTS. The minimum passing marks for getting qulaified for interview of educators jobs is 60%.

But according to new schedule the educators jobs 2013 now will be completed in 2014. The new schedule for Educators Recuritment / Jobs 2014 is as under:-

Last Date of Submission of Applications : 20-Feb-2014

Interviews:- 06-March-2014 to 17-March-2014

Issuance of Appointment Letters: 25-March-2014

Joining of Selected Educators : 01-April-2014
