Resumption of Urdu as Medium of Instructions in Schools of Punjab

The Provincial Minister Education Punjab ordered for the resumption of Urdu as a medium of instruction in all schools of the Punjab. Before this PM Shahbaz Sharif was acting to convert all the school to English Medium. And most of the schools in Punjab were converted to English Medium. The mother and national languages are said to be best for the education as by the experts, but our educationalist are still trying to convert all the system into English medium.

The drop out in the schools of Punjab have increased due to english medium. And most of the students who belong to lower class families are not able to understand english wording so this is a great problem not only for the students but for the teachers too.

Now it is a good decision by the minister education Punjab for implementation of Urdu as medium of instruction in Punjab. From the next academic year Urdu will be medium of instructions, but the English medium will not be totally vanished. According to the news report it has been instructed by the Secretary Education Punjab to all heads of the schools to start two sections of each class one in English and other in Urdu medium so that the students who are in English medium could easily continue their studies

The examination will also be in both mediums i.e students will have the option to either solve the paper in English or in Urdu this will be applicable for the botth internal and external examination

The parents, teachers and teacher unions were also demanding for the implementation of urdu as medium of instructions and it is in great national interest so i congratulate all those who tried for this noble cause.

Notification of Computer Allowance for the Teacher / Educators (SSE/SST) Education Department Punjab

The SSE(CS) and SST teachers are entitled Computer allowance @ Rs. 1500/-. But the the District Account Offices of the most of the districts of the punjab are not allowing this allowance to the teachers of Punjab education Department. In this regard the Executive District Officer (EDO) of the District Rahim Yar Khan, approached The Direct Public Instructions (SE) Punjab Lahore for the guidance regarding the grant of computer allowance to the educators / teachers of Punjab through letter No. 6457/Ad-I Dated 11 June 2012 and requested for the grant of Computer allowance. As some districts are already granting computer allowance to the teachers with pay so proof of this was also attached.

The Director Public Instructions (SE) Punjab Lahore replied this appeal vide letter No. 6807/Admn(Male)-2 dated 05-07-2012 the copy of this is shown below.

According to this reply following gudiance was provided by the director Public Instructions Punjab:-
1. The SST/SSE (CS) are allowed to draw computer allowance at the rate of 1500/- Per Month according to the notification No. US(Budget) I-8/07 dated 05-05-2007.

2. The Accountant General Punjab or district Accounts Officers (DAO) of respective district to approached with notification for the grant of computer allowance.

3. The Computer allowance is admissible to both contract and regular teachers i.e SSE and SSTs.

PUNISHMENT TO TEACHERS ON THE BASIS OF RESULTS

The Govt. of the Punjab is trying to imporve the education standard of the people and for this government is trying to provide every possible facility to the teachers and schools. While giving the benefits to the teachers for getting the required result in respect of high education standard the the government is also implementing strict action against the teachers / educators and headmasters of the Punjab Education Department School Wings for getting the required results.

The Secretary Education Punjab has already taken the action against the teachers of middle and primary schools (EST, PST, ESE, SESE and head teachers) who showed bad result in PEC Middle and primary Exam 2013. And the subject teacher and head teacher / headmaster whom result was 0-25 % were issued show cause notices and will be punished by stopping there increments.

INCENTIVE FOR TEACHERS ON THE BASIS OF RESULT

The same is going to happen with the subject teacher (SSTs) and headmaster of the Secodary Schools on the basis of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Result 2013. The teachers and headmaster may be dismissed or suspended on the basis of the result.

While on the other hand the secretary education Punjab has decided to grant the incentive to the teachers and headmasters who showed above 80% result in the exam.

On the one side the teachers whom result was brillient are happy for getting incentive while on the other side the teachers whom result was not satisfactory are in trouble. The teachers union of all Punjab are trying to save the teachers from such type of strict action in this regard they have met the Secretary Education Punjab.

Announcement of inter part 2 Result Federal Board Islambad (FBISE) HSSC Part-2 year 2013

As you all know that the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad already declared the Result of SSC Part-I and Part-II. While the Boared of Intermediate and secondary Education of all Punjab also announced the BISE Punjab result of matric part-II on 25 July 2013 and the BISE Punjab announced result of Matric part-I on 21st August 2013.

Now its time for the declaration of Higher secondary School (HHSC) Part-I and Part-II result. Since the Federal board management is fast and get prepared the result earlier than the Punjab boards so FBISE Islamabad will announce the result of Federal board HSSC Part-II which includes the result of F.Sc(Pre-Engg), F.Sc(Pre-Medical), F.Sc(Computer Science), I.Com and Humanties(arts) group.

Notification of Regularization of BPS-16 & and above in Punjab August 2013

The Chief Minister of the Punjab has already ordered for the regularization of the all contract employees in the province of the Punjab. But as the election commission of the Pakistan cancelled this decision due to election, the CM Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif once again ordered to start the regularizationn process of all the employees in Punjab including teachers and educators of Education department Punjab.

The Notification of regularization BPS-1 to BPS-15 has already been uploaded to this educational blog, which clearly mentioned all the eligibility criteria for the regularization of contract employees working in different department of the Punjab.

A separate notification for the regularization of the employees in BPS-16 and above in Punjab has been issued. In this notification CM Punjab asked the administrative department to forward the cases of all such employees who are working on contract according to the policy provided vide notification NO. DS(O&M)(S&GAD)5-3/2013 dated, Lahore the 1st March, 2013 Services And General Administration Department (Regulations Wing) dated, Lahore the 1st March, 2013 the copy of which is provided below for your information. After issuing of the regularization notification of BPS-16 and above a huge number of educators and subject specialists working in different schools of the Punjab will get benefit of regularization. The administrative departments of the Punjab has been asked to forward all such cases of employees for regularization except those who fall under C&D category.
