The Education Department Govt. of the Punjab has already announced recuritment policy 2013 for educators / teachers requirtment in . This policy contains full detail for the selection of the educator in Punjab. The Education Minister of Punjab Province has also recently announced that 28000 educators /teachers will be recurited in Punjab in 2013. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif has already shown special attention and interest in improving the quality of education and literacy level in Punjab

This step of the Punjab Government for recuritment of educators will not only improve the quality of education but will also help govt to control the unemployment in the province.

A good number of unemployed younsters and visitors of this Educational Blog mailed me through facebook and twitter asking the expected date of advertisement of Educators in Punjab. I also find many people in different forums asking the same question so i decided to overcome your problems and gathered some information unofficially for your information.

Expected Date of Advertisement OF Educators in PUNJAB For Year 2013

The expected date of advertisement according to unofficial report is 07 Sep 2013, the advertisement for the recuritment of educators jobs will be published in well known newspapers of the country like Jang, Nawa-E-Waqt, Express, The News and the Dawn etc on 07-09-2013.

DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE EDUCATORS JOBS IN 2013 RECURITMENT

The date for the submission of applications for the upcoming educator / teachers vaccant posts / jobs of the Punjab schools will be from 20-Sep-2013 to 30-Sep-2013

DATE OF TEST /INTERVIEW FOR THE EDUCATORS RECURITED IN 2013

The written test which will be conducted by National Testing Services(NTS) of 100 marks and qualifing marks of whom are 50. The test will held on 05-Oct-2013. And candidates who fulfilled the CRITERIAL OF RECURITMENT FOR EDUCATORS 2013 will be called for interview on 10-Oct-2013 to 13-Oct-2013.

ISSUANCE OF APPOINTMENT ORDERS TO THE SELECTED EDUCATORS OF RECURITMENT 2013

The candidates who will be selected under merite policy 2013 would be issued appointment letters on 20 oct 2013.

JOINING OF SELECTED EDUCATORS FOR RECURITMENT 2013

The educators who will get appointment orders will have to join the respective schools within 15 days after the date of issuance of appointment orders.The candidates will have to accept the terms & conditions of educators according to the appoinment letter.

Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) Schedule of Admission for V and VIII class exam 2014

The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) is responsible for the conductiong of examination of middle(8th) class and Primary (V) class for the students of Public and Private schools of the Punjab

To appear in theses examinations is necessary for the the students who wish to continue their study according to the PEC. The students who failed in the exam or fail to appear in the exam under PEC would not be allowed to promote to next class.

PEC has recently issued schedule for the admission of middle and primary class student who wish to appear in upcoming examination 2014.

According to the schedule issued by the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) the admission will start start from 01 Sep 2013 and will end on 10 Oct 2013. The admission form for this purpose can be downloaded from the link below:-

Resumption of Urdu as Medium of Instructions in Schools of Punjab

The Provincial Minister Education Punjab ordered for the resumption of Urdu as a medium of instruction in all schools of the Punjab. Before this PM Shahbaz Sharif was acting to convert all the school to English Medium. And most of the schools in Punjab were converted to English Medium. The mother and national languages are said to be best for the education as by the experts, but our educationalist are still trying to convert all the system into English medium.

The drop out in the schools of Punjab have increased due to english medium. And most of the students who belong to lower class families are not able to understand english wording so this is a great problem not only for the students but for the teachers too.

Now it is a good decision by the minister education Punjab for implementation of Urdu as medium of instruction in Punjab. From the next academic year Urdu will be medium of instructions, but the English medium will not be totally vanished. According to the news report it has been instructed by the Secretary Education Punjab to all heads of the schools to start two sections of each class one in English and other in Urdu medium so that the students who are in English medium could easily continue their studies

The examination will also be in both mediums i.e students will have the option to either solve the paper in English or in Urdu this will be applicable for the botth internal and external examination

The parents, teachers and teacher unions were also demanding for the implementation of urdu as medium of instructions and it is in great national interest so i congratulate all those who tried for this noble cause.

Notification of Computer Allowance for the Teacher / Educators (SSE/SST) Education Department Punjab

The SSE(CS) and SST teachers are entitled Computer allowance @ Rs. 1500/-. But the the District Account Offices of the most of the districts of the punjab are not allowing this allowance to the teachers of Punjab education Department. In this regard the Executive District Officer (EDO) of the District Rahim Yar Khan, approached The Direct Public Instructions (SE) Punjab Lahore for the guidance regarding the grant of computer allowance to the educators / teachers of Punjab through letter No. 6457/Ad-I Dated 11 June 2012 and requested for the grant of Computer allowance. As some districts are already granting computer allowance to the teachers with pay so proof of this was also attached.

The Director Public Instructions (SE) Punjab Lahore replied this appeal vide letter No. 6807/Admn(Male)-2 dated 05-07-2012 the copy of this is shown below.

According to this reply following gudiance was provided by the director Public Instructions Punjab:-
1. The SST/SSE (CS) are allowed to draw computer allowance at the rate of 1500/- Per Month according to the notification No. US(Budget) I-8/07 dated 05-05-2007.

2. The Accountant General Punjab or district Accounts Officers (DAO) of respective district to approached with notification for the grant of computer allowance.

3. The Computer allowance is admissible to both contract and regular teachers i.e SSE and SSTs.
