Private Student are not Elligible to Appear in Science Subjects BISE Punjab

All the 8 Educational Boards of the Punjab (BISE Punjab) has restricted the private students in appearing the science subjects in upcoming SSC exam 2013. The private student are also not elligible to appear in those subjects which require practical exam to pass. This is the the third time that the BISE Punjab has decided to restrict private candidate in appearing science subjects but the court terminated this decision. This decision was taken in a meeting of all boards chairman committe in which Chairman of BISE Rawalpindi, BISE Lahore, BISE Gujranwala, BISE Multan, BISE Bahawalpur, BISE Sargodha, BISE Faisalabad and  BISE DG Khan were present. 

On the other hand the All Pakistan Private School Management Association decided to challenge this decision and decided to appeal through court. The association of private schools in Pakistan also asked Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharief to look over the matter and terminate this decision immediately so that future of millions students of Punjab could be saved. 

Cancellation of Saturday Holiday in Federal Educational Institutions

The notification of Saturday holiday has been issued. According to CAD Representative the decision was taken on the request of the Principals Federal Government Schools due to the reason that course in the FG Schools is completed and this will help the student to complete the course on time. According to the notification there will be only one weekly leave i.e on Sunday and the Saturday leave will be cancelled w.e.f 07-12-2013.

Extension in Last Date of Submission of Educators Recuritment Forms by NTS

The National Testing Service (NTS) which is responsible for advertising and conducting the written test for the different posts of Educatiors in Punjab has extended the last date of submission of application form. According to the officical Website of NTS (www.nts.org.pk) now the last date is extended to 23-11-2013 which was 20-11-2013 earlier. Online Admission Schedule for Matric (SSC-I and SSC-II) Annual Examination 2013

All the nine educational boards of Punjab generally termed as BISE Punjab have issued the schedule of admission for class 9th and 10th. According to the notifcation issued by the board the lasst date for submitting of admission charges with single fee is 18 December 2013. The online admission will start from 28 November, 2013 and last date for admission wth single fee is 18 December 2013. While the last date of admission with double fee is 27 December, 2013 and with triple fee the last date is 06 Jan, 2013. In the meeting of PBCC all the nine boards BISE Punjab has decided to start the matric class annual examination in all the boards will start from 01st March, 2013. 

Establishment of Educational Authorities in Punjab Notification Issued

The notification for the establishment of educational authorities and functionality of Educational Directorate has been issued. Notification no. 80(A-1)3/7-2012 has been issued in this regard and it has been ordered to Executive District Officers (EDO) Education of all the districts to take the necessary steps for this purpose. The District Education Authority will will consist of 11 members. The head of the education authority will be CSP officer.

All teacher unions including Punjab Teacher Union, SES Teachers Association, Senior Staff Association, Educators Association and Subject Specialist Association rejected the establishment of education authority.

Notification Upgraddation of Junior Accountant w.e.f 12 Sep 2005 instead 19 Jul 2011

The Junior Accountant who were working in Pakistan Post were appointed on BPS-12 and were upgraded to BPS-16 w.e.f 19-07-2011 Notification No. Even. But by the direction of Ministry of Communications (Postal Wing) Letter No. 1-63/2009-P.o-I dated 19-08-2013 and Finance Division (Regulation Wing Letter F. No. 1(2)R-1/2008/482/13 dated 07-08-2013 the Director general Pakistan Post Islamabad who is the competent authority in this case issued letter No. Estt.2-7/2007 (KW)(Pt) date 02-09-2013 which modified the date of upgraddation of Junior Accountant(BPS-16) as 12-09-2005 instead of 19-07-2011 giving the benefit to the Junior Accountant of Pakistan Post Islamabad.

On one side it is very good news for for upgraded Junior Assistant that they are being awarded BPS-16 from earlier date but on the other hand it is also making question mark for policy makers that how can it be possible that Junior Accountant is being granted BPS-16 while Senior Accountant are still working in BPS-14.
