Announcement of Eid Ul Fitr Holidays 2013 by the Federal Government

The Federal Government has issued notification regarding the EID UL FITR 2013 holidays. According to The Express newspaper whose cutting has been provided below, Federal Government offices will remain close for Eid Ul Fitr Holidays from 08 Aug 2013 to 10 Aug 2013 for three days in total.
It is better mention here that a good number of Employees of Federal Government working in Islamabad belong to far areas of Pakistan and three days holiday will not be enough them as one day in going to home and one day in coming back to office is usually wasted. Lifting of Ban over the transfer / posting of teaching staff in Punjab Education Department

Punjab Education Department lifted the ban over the transfer / posting of the teaching staff. The dead line for receiving applications is 20 June. The transfer in city of Rawalpindi will be made only on the guidance of Chief Minister Punjab.

Retirement Age For Government Employees Extension

The Government of the Pakistan extended the age of retirement from 60 to 62 years by allowing 2 year extension in the last retirement age. That mean that now a government employee can serve the government upto 62 years. The government employees specially those who were near retirement celebrated this news with excitement. The notification in this regard has been issued and the approval was taken from the President of the Pakistan instead of the Parliament. The decision was taken by the government to benefit its secretaries who were going to retire in next few months. This decision will not only save those Peoples Party secretaries but also will allow the present government to save the funds which were going in respect of pension and gratuity. The labor union strongly condemned this decision because they were considering to lower the duration of the government servant but the decision went straight opposite.

Latest News / Updates Regarding Notification of Conveyance Allowance by Punjab Government 2012 - 2013

The federal Government Revised the conveyance allowance for its employees and the employees of the other Provincial Government were considering the same increase in their pay but after a long delay there is still no news regarding the increase in conveyance allowance of the punjab, sindh, Balochistan and Khayber Pakhtoonkha province. And it seems that the employees of the provinces will not be awarded to such an increase.

Many websites and sources are misguiding people regarding this issue that the provinces have also increased the conveyance allowance. Many of the people and member of this blog asked me about the fact of the matter and after contacting to the official of the different government institution i found now such news that punjab government will increase the conveyance allowance of its employees as the federal government did in its decision.

On the one side the government is thinking for the unified pay scale but on the other side this type of difference in pay scale is increasing disappointment in the employees of the provincial government. The Provincial Government should take the step like the federal government to increase the conveyance allowance of its employees.

Anyhow it is informed once again that there is still no notification for increase in conveyance allowance of the provincial / punjab government employees. So dont be frustrate by the random news published by different websites and sources and wait for the fact until it appear through some reasonable source.

Practical Examination paper pattern for punjab / federal boards BISE / FBISE 2012 - 2013

The Practical Examination paper pattern of Punjab Education Board, which
include BISE (board of intermediate and secondary education), BISE rawalpindi,
BISE Lahore, BISE Gujranwala, BISE Toba Tek Singh, BISE Multan, BISE Bhawalpur
consists of total four questions total 30 marks and the passing marks are 10.

The paper pattern is as under

Practical Examination for matric class 9 & 10 (part-I & II) Detail 2012 - 2013

It is compulsory for the science stduent to pass the practical and theroy examinations seperately. Presently Punjab Education Boards which include rawalpindi board, lahore board, bhalwalpur board, gujranwala board
toba teh singh board, multan board and all other boards of the provincial government of Punjab take the the practical examination of matric class science students 9th and 10th class at once (combine) after the
theory examination of matric. There are no practical for 9th class instead the practical exam held only in matric. But so far as it is concerned with the Federal Board / Federal Board of intermediate and secondary examination before the year2012 it was same as the process of Punjab Education Boards once in after matric class 10th but from this year 2012 now to onwards there will be separate practical examination of federal board in both classes 9th and 10th. That means student have to appear in the practical exam in 9th and 10th.

Training of newly inducted / recrurited educatiors 2012 - 2012 in Punjab Scholl Education Department

The Government of The Punjab taking solid steps for enhancing the literacy rate of the Punjab province. In this regard the PML(N) government has took many solid steps. First of all the medium of Punjab government schools has been changed from Urdu to English. Which will make government schools students to compete with the other private and modern school. Keeping in view the modern era of computer The Punjab Governemt also provided the computer labs with IT teachers. The computer / IT labs provided by the government are very good and fulfill the modern necessities of learning for example a high speed DSL with printer and high speed computers were provided. Another step in this regard was the establishment of Kids room for primary class students. 

The government is also well aware of the fact that teachers have a key role in enhancing the literacy rate and for the said purpose government is appointing / recruiting / inducting new teachers / educators. From the last 3 years the criteria for the selection of teachers has been changed and more and more concerned over the science is being put. Now all the teacher were inducted are at least science graduate. Even though there is complication as the criteria for ESE, SESE and SSE is same graduation with science subjects. That mean for the people who have graduation can apply for all the above posts there is no difference in the criteria keeping in view the scale difference there should. It has also been noted that mostly the teacher inducted this year are M.Phil or enrolled in M.Phil so this is good change that will bring good people towards education / teaching career.

The training for newly inducted teachers throughout the Punjab is being held and for this purpose experienced teachers are appointed as trainer. The training was mainly held at district levels however, for the convenience for teachers specially for female teachers training at Tehsil level was also started to facilitate the candidates. At Tehsil level training was held under the control of DTE's (District Teacher's Educators). The merit policy was very strict this year too keeping the professional and academic qualification of the candidate  a Pre-Merit list was prepared. Then after interview and computer skill test and final selection was made. However, this year a little change was observed that was emission of priority form that was for facilitating candidates. A number of candidates could not attend the training due to late arrival or these candidates were not informed which seems a little problem from the admin side. Admin of Education department should taken necessary steps to facilitate the candidates which could not reach at time as they all were selected from the strict merit criteria.

Anyhow the induction of new science graduate teachers will change the old trends of education and will help improving the literacy level of the country.

Notification / Approval of ultility allowance for federal / punjab govt. employees

A number of news are being circulated about the utility allowance. At first the news regarding utility allowance appeared in the leading newspaper of the country like nawa e waqt stating that the provincial government of the Punjab has approved the utility allowance for th its employees which later on proved false. Secondly it is also being said that this allowance will be admissible to only Teachers and Paramedical staff of the Punjab. But still no fact in this regard appeared or no notification or hard copy received. Certain sources are saying that this allowance will be admissible from the January 2012 and some saying about February 2012. Another news in this regard was that this allowance will include in the salary of the employees from the July 2012. Anyhow no official statement came in this regard.

Now another news is also in circulation that federal government also approved the utility allowance to it employees from the February 2012 and notification in this regard has been issued some sources are also giving the notification number but no copy / hard copy was seen by anyone.

Lets see what government decides. As the government employees are taking this news very seriously because the rates are increase day by day and the purchasing the common life goods is going beyond the common man approach. Furthermore, this budget is also very important because this will be last budget of the present government after this budget new election will held.  So people are hoping a good last budget from the present government. The coming budget for the year 2012 - 2013 is very important for the people of Pakistan as well as for the democrative parties specially for PPP and PML(N).

The paper of computer science / biology subject held on today through out the Province Punjab. A number of students reported the paper as the average one and students seems to be happy with the first paper. The paper held in a very peaceful manner. And no thing unsatisfactory reported till now. The security arrangement in the respected centres was good.

Punjab board matric class (part-ii) papers started from today 03-03-2012

Punjab board Matric class 10th papers started from today 03-March-2012. The paper was held in a very peaceful way and no problem faced in any examination board of Punjab. At the first day only a few candidates appeared in the paper of Agriculture, Arabic etc. However, the first full strength paper will be from Monday, the 05th of March, 2012. The paper will of Biology / Computer sciences. All the arrangements in this regard has been completed and staff has been reached to their proposed centers. Security measures has also been taken in this regard. It is also informed that inter exams of the schools lower classes like 6th and 7th has also stared from the 1st of this month. The middle exams which were held under the Punjab Education Commission (PEC) has been completed. And the papers of the middle classes has also been checked and results has been forwarded to PEC for preparing gazette / marks sheets.

Admission schedule for matric class 9th and 10th

All the Punjab Boards of education including rawalpindi board, attock board, multan board, sahiwal board, lahore board, jahlum board, sarghoda board, gujranwala board and all other boards of District Punjab has announced the date for the admission of 9th and 10th class (matric) annual examination for the year 2012.
In this regard the last date of admission of Rawalpindi board is 30-12-2011 for regular as well as for private candidates and the last date for the Lahore board for regular students is 03-01-2012 and for private students it is 30-12-2011. Online admission form for the admission is available on the website of the concerned board.

Change of eligibility criteria for the recruitment of educators / teachers in Education department Govt. of the Punjab

A decision has been taken after hearing a lot of complaint against the eligibility criteria for the recruitment / selection  / appointment of educators / teachers. It was announced earlier in advertisement that only the candidates with specific combination of science subjects can apply against the specific seats, but now it has been decided that the candidate who has completed BS / BA (honors / hons) in any one science subjects i.e Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology etc can apply for the recruitement of educators. Furthermore, it has been decided by the competent authority of the education department Govt. of Punjab that candidates who has passed their two years B.Sc in any one of the science subjects can also apply for the recruitement as educators / teachers. Punjab Boards Matric Class 9th Result 2011-2012

All the educational boards of punjab announced the result of matric 9th class the passing percentage was very low almost 22% Out of 124000 candidates only 23000 could pass. 

A number of students complained for recheck of papers. There are specially appeals against the rechecking of chemistry and Biology papers. 

Some of the students getting A+ grade in other paper could not get a single mark in chemistry / Biology papers. There are many mistakes in the result and people protested against this.

New Date for Result annoucement of punjab boards matric class

In a meeting with Chief Minster Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif  the chairman's of all Punjab boards finalized the date of the announcement of Matric result. Now the result will be announce on 02 August 2011.

The chairman's also apologized that the date of announcement of result was wrongly displayed on the website.

All the eight educational boards of punjab has cancelled the result of matric class which was going to announce on 21 july 2011. The management could not prepared the result only the lahore board was able to prepare the result by 50 percent all others board could prepare only 30 percent result. The next date for the announcement of the result will be declared in next two or three days.
