Notification of Departmental Promotion of Punjab Government School Teachers under 3 tier formula for year 2013The Punjab Education Department Schools Wing has notified the promotion of School Teachers under 3 tier formula. Which is based on the 35 : 15 ratio. This means that under this promotion criteria PST teacher of BPS-09 will be promoted to BPS-12 on the ration of 35% while 15% will be promoted to BPS-14 EST scale. Similarly 15% of EST teacher will be promted to BPS-16 and 35% EST will be promoted to BPS-15. And 35% SST will be promoted to BPS-17 and 15% will be promoted to BPS-18. The thing to remember here that all these scales are the personal scales of the employees i.e they will get the pay and allowance according to these scales but will remain on the previous designation.
In total there were 1313 candidates who fulfill this criteria of the promotion in District Rawalpindi but out of these 1313 candidates 277 cases has been deffered because of not submitting the required document by the due date. So in long meeting it has been decided that these promotions will be applicable from 29 Jan 2013 and the deferred cases will be held pending upto the next promotions.
It is further informed here that the teacher of Punjab Education Department remains in the designation at which they were selected for almost 15-20 years and when the time for there promotion came the department did not properly informed them to provide there documents and they lost there promotion. However, the candidates whom cases have been deferred have decided to got to court against this case because they were not informed well before time.
